Designing beautiful things

About

My whole life, I’ve been drawn to weird things. Like trolls and koosh balls and slime. I realized early on how these products made me feel, and the stories I created around them. Ironically, I still have trolls and koosh balls on my desk. I think they are there to remind me of something important. Design matters, but how it makes each and every one of us feel matters more.

From my first paintbrush to my most recent tablet, I continue to challenge myself in design thinking and the stories I’m trying to tell. With over 14 years of design and art direction experience in traditional, digital, and email, I have worked with amazing clients in healthcare, consumer, and B2B. My goal is to design meaningful, beautiful, and solution-based content that resonates with an audience, to a specific person.

As the speed of ever-changing technologies increases, I am constantly learning and adapting my way of thinking, and open to new ideas and outcomes. I am also very connected in my design community and volunteer often with NYC youth to encourage expression through art, design, and yes even slime.

When not on a computer (which isn’t often), I enjoy drawing in my sketchbook, adding to my extensive toy collection, and traveling to far away places with my family.

To say working with Jenny was one of the best experiences my organization had doesn’t do it justice. She not only captured the sentiments of our brand and designed every creative asset that we still use, but her brilliant and thought provoking designs are the hallmark of our organization theme and mission. I was so impressed with her work over the 5+ years that she’s worked with us, that when I decided to launch a new women empowerment brand, Jenny designed all of the creatives for my new brand that put my business on the map. Jenny is one of the most savvy, conscientious and gifted talents that I have ever met. To engage her for your project is to enlist a design flair that is second to none!
